Hello,

I'm a 22-year-old female university student from Korea. I'm visiting Vancouver alone and I'm looking for a homestay where I can live from June onwards!


(Introduce myself)

- I'm a third-year university student in Korea, majoring in education, life sciences, and environmental studies.
- I love coffee and delicious food.
- I don't drink, smoke, or attend parties. I'm not particularly fond of those activities.
- I have a lot of vitality. I have experience living in groups, and I often found myself helping out with cleaning, dishwashing, etc.
- I want to travel around Vancouver, see the ocean, visit various parks and libraries. I'm also looking forward to visiting famous tourist spots in Canada. I plan to enjoy snowboarding in Canada during the winter!


(Type of accommodation desired and questions)

- I prefer a quiet room with windows that let in plenty of light.
- I prefer a single room (1-person room), and it would be nice to have a bathroom for my own use, but sharing with others is also okay. (Please let me know how many people and who will be sharing with me.)
- I prefer a place for women only. Also, the presence of animals or children doesn't matter to me (I majored in education and I love animals very much).
- I prefer a place within walking distance to nearby bus stops / SkyTrain stations. I want accommodation close to public transportation. I would like to inquire about how long it takes to walk to nearby public transportation.
- It would be great if there are cafes, restaurants, parks, libraries, or places where I can relax nearby.
- I prefer locations near downtown, with Burnaby being my first choice, followed by Richmond and Coquitlam. (The closer to downtown, the better, but unfortunately, as a university student, I don't have a lot of money)
- I plan to budget between $my contact page per month for living expenses, including taxes and utilities.
- It would be nice if breakfast is provided. Alternatively, it would be good if I could cook for myself.
