Homestay in Coquitlam, Canada
We are a couple in our late 50's with no children at home who have done homestay for five years and really enjoy hosting and learning about new cultures. We both work full time and have no children at home. We have visited Europe and the U.S. and are very easygoing. We love hosting barbeques and dinner parties, enjoy watching a movie on TV and like to go for hikes long walks and the beach. My husband is an Italian Chef and loves to prepare food. We have a nice patio in the back yard that is available for the guest's use and we are located close to SFU (5 km), transit, parks and trails. We are happy to drive our guest to the nearest skytrain station at Burquitlam which is 5 minutes away. We are a non-smoking household and we have our son's dog Koda, a Saint Bernard visit us on occasion. We offer a very clean bright room with a double bed, desk, chair, closet, TV and dresser. We do not allow our guests to cook in our kitchen due to safety liability issues. Also we do not provide storage for large bulky items other than two suitcases and a laptop. We look forward to hosting our next guest!
