Hello! We are a family of three (myself (Shayne), my husband Bjorn, and my 3 year old daughter Kaiya) and we would like to welcome you in our home. We have been hosting students since beginning of this year and we fell in love with it. It's been such a great opportunity to meet people around the world and learn their culture and lifestyle. We have always been into travelling since Bjorn and I met. We have been to many countries in Europe (Amsterdam, Paris, Ibiza, Venice, Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini) and in Asia (Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan) and we also have been to Hawaii, Mexico, US, Caribbean. My family loves to spend quality time together and we do that by going outdoors, camping, biking and finding new experiences. You are welcome to join us! We also love to dance, watch movies, read books, and exercise.
We would support you in any way possible to make your stay comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. We are very excited to meet you! Our spare room has a queen bed. Our bath has a tub/shower combo. We have a spin bike that you can use and a backyard where you can relax. Our home is located in Surrey, bus accessible and 20 minutes away from the train station.
Rules of the house: We can discuss this further and we're open to request and feedback.
*Cleaning responsibility: own room and bathroom after use, kitchen after use
*Laundry responsibility: weekly for clothes and every two weeks for beddings (detergent provided)
*No curfew but please inform us if you are coming home really late at night or not coming home
*Quiet time: 11 pm
*no smoking
