Homestay in Vancouver, Canada

We love to meet new people and learn about different cultures.We hosted students from all over the world..Korea,Russia,Japan,Kazakhstan ,Ukraine,Peru,Colombia ,Mexico,Italy, china ..etc. We are in a very safe neighborhood, our home is two level, we live upstairs and we have 3 Bedrooms downstairs which are very spacious.Downstairs have separate living room and kitchen, laundry within suite.We are a block away from vancouver amusement park call PLAYLAND, 20 minutes to downtown Vancouver..bus stop R5, 14 and 16 bus is close by ~ 2 min walk. .There are lots of restaurant within walking distance.

"Our students find that they have more space to them-self at our place compare to different home stay where you are staying with 5 -8 difference students". We love to associate with our home stay students and we have excellent relationship with them.We went to do lots of things together like bowling night, go see Christmas light at Vandusen garden, Granville Island,suspension bridge,night market, go eat ..difference sight seeing etc. We like to do lots of out door activities in the summer.

My name is Sofia and I came to Vancouver from the Ukraine. I lived in a Tina's family for almost a year and I am surely love this beautiful family! They are very friendly and kind, they often took me to different cool places in Vancouver. They was not only a host family for me, but also a very good friends and I still keep in touch with them.
P.S. Food that they cook is sooooo delicious!
Всем привет, я София и я жила в семье Тины почти год. Это просто замечательная семья! Они очень милые, дружелюбные и веселые. Я провела с ними очень хорошее время, они часто возили меня в разные классные места в Ванкувере, ярмарки, кафе и так же мы праздновали все праздники вместе. Я действительно чувствовала себя частью семьи. Мы с ними стали хорошими друзьями и до сих пор поддерживаем общение.
И, кстати, еда, которую они готовят невероятно вкусная!

My name is Inhee, im from Korea. It was a great experience staying in Tina's Homestay. I would have had hard time without their help in Vancouver. They always try to give helpful advice to me, from advice about school to even advice about finding a good burger restaurant.
My room is really cozy and warm. It makes me feel like I'm in real HOME.
Especially, I love the food here. They provide delicious food with organic vegetables that they grow in their backyard. REALLY GREAT.
The location is also great and very safe neighborhood. I can get the bus station within just ~2 minutes and near the house there are some good restaurants, shoppers drug market and library.
아주머니 아저씨가 정말 친절하시고 말을 많이 걸어주려고 하셔서 영어로 많이 말할 수 있었어요. 제가 단어를 잘 모르거나 말할 때 잠깐 막혀도 천천히 기다려주시고 작은 걸 물어봐도 많이 알려주시려고 하세요.
특히 음식이 맛있어요. (저한테는 제일중요...)뒷마당에서 할머니께서 채소도 직접 기르세요. 또, 아래층에는 홈스테이 학생들만 살아서(최대 3명) 뭔가 독립된 공간을 가질 수 있어서 좋았어요. 버스 정류장하고도 가깝고 다운타운하고도 가까워서 교통관련해서는 전혀 불편한게 없었어요. 방도 참 따듯하답니다.

Hi my name is Rachel I highly recommend this home stay especially to people who don't like busy or noisy places but still want to live near downtown.

Tina and her family members gave me much more help than I could expected. They did care about me and also gave me lots of advice which has been helpful.

They took me to good places as well, we go to one of them for lunch sometimes even though I don't live in their house any more. Every memory with them is great. :)

다운타운은 너무 시끄럽고 바빠서 싫지만, 다운타운에서 멀리 벗어나고 싶지 않으시다면, 이 홈스테이를 추천해드리고 싶어요.ㅎㅎ

제가 일반적으로 홈스테이에서 기대하던 것보다, 티나 가족들한테서 많은 도움을 받은 것 같아요. 저를 정말 가족처럼 많이 걱정해주기도 하고, 조언도 많이 해줬어요. 지금도 그게 많이 도움이 되는 거 같아요. 주말엔 종종 같이 좋은 곳에 놀러갔어요. 지금은 더 이상 티나 집에 살진 않지만, 서로 자주 연락하고 가끔씩 만나서 점심도 먹으러 가네요~ㅎㅎ 좋은 기억들만 남은 홈스테이입니다. ^-^

Hi, I’m Ayaka from Japan.I lived in this homestay for 8month.
It was my best part to meet Tina’s family in Vancouver.
They took us many fun activities such as night market, hiking, amusement park etc...
I always enjoyed talking with them at dinner time. Also, their food is really nice and healthy.
Their two kids are super cute! I have lived in another homestay, but I think Tina’s homestay is the
best homestay in Vancouver !!

このファミリーは本当に優しく温かく、このファミリーに出会えたことは私の一生の宝物です。
学校やバイトで疲れて帰った日も、ファミリーとゆっくり話せるディナーの時間が楽しみで二人の可愛い子供達にも毎日癒されました。ご飯はとても美味しくヘルシーで、食事で心配することはありません。休みの日もナイトマーケット、ハイキング、遊園地に一緒によく出かけました。私は他のホームステイにも住んだことがありますが、ここより素敵なホームステイはないと思います！！

Staying at Tina’s Homestay was an important part of the best experience of my life.
Family was always attentive to me by suggesting places to visit and telling me how to get there, while they invited me and my roommates from Japan and Indonesia to go with them to many places, they always cared about our welfare by asking us that we were in communication with them during the day (whatsapp).
From the moment I arrived in Vancouver, they were very kind to show me the neighborhood, the bus stop and give me a welcome tour of Downtown.
My room was very spacious and comfortable, I could do my homework comfortably, have relax time in the living room watching movies and series on Netflix.
The house is in a nice area, near parks and very close to downtown, one block from the bus stop, every day I did 20 minutes to arrive to school.
As for meals, I liked to eat international food and meet other types of foods unknown to me, in our food were always included organic vegetables from our garden. For breakfast, we had very varied options in our refrigerator.
The best thing for me was that there was share work in the house. My roommates and I always tried to keep the house clean, and there were rules that made the stay more pleasant to all.
I loved dinner time, where I could converse with my rommates, with Tina and her family and the children, it was very advantageous to be able to practice English with all of them and learn more about their customs and traditions.
While I was in school, I shared opinions with others of my classmates about their homestays or apartments where they were staying, and they were surprised when I talked to them about the comforts and kindness of my hosts.
I have a very special affection for Tina's family and for my roommates, I would love to see them again someday.
No doubt, I know that I was in the best homestay in Vancouver, for which I highly recommend them.

Hospedarme con Tina y Hang fue una parte importante de la mejor experiencia de mi vida.
Family siempre fué atenta conmigo al sugerirme lugares para visitar e indicarme cómo llegar hasta ahí, al mismo tiempo que nos invitaban a mi y a mis compañeras de Japon y de Indonesia a ir con ellos a muchos lugares, ellos siempre se preocupaban por nuestro bienestar al pedirnos que estuvieramos en comunicación con ellos durante el día (whatsapp).
Desde el momento en que llegué a Vancouver ellos fueron muy amables en mostrarme el vecindario, la parada de autobus y darme un recorrido de bienvenida por Downtown.
Mi cuarto era muy amplio y cómodo, podia realizar mis tareas comodamente en mi habitación, relajarme en la sala de estar viendo películas y series en Netflix.
La casa se encuentra en una linda zona, cerca de parques y muy cerca del centro, a una cuadra de la parada de autobus, todos los días hacía 20 minutos a mi escuela.
En cuanto a las comidas, me agradaba comer comida internacional y conocer otro tipo de comidas desconocidas para mi, en nuestra comida siempre iban incluidos vegetales orgánicos de nuestro jardin. Para el desayuno teniamos opciones muy variadas en nuestro refrigerador.
Lo mejor para mi, era que habia mucho orden en la casa. Mis compañeras y yo siempre tratabamos de mantener la casa limpia, y habia reglas que nos hicieron la estancia mas placentera a todas.
Me encantaba la hora de la cena, en donde podia convivir con mis compañeras, con Tina y su familia, con los niños era muy ventajoso poder practicar ingles con todos ellos y conocer mas sobre sus costumbres y tradiciones.
Mientras estaba en la escuela, compartia opiniones con otros de mis compañeros sobre sus homestays o departamentos en donde ellos se alojaban, y ellos quedaban sorprendidos cuando les platicaba sobre las comodidades y la amabilidad de mis anfitriones.
Tengo un cariño muy especial por la familia de Tina y por mis compañeras, me encantaria volver a verlos de nuevo algun dia.
Si duda, se que estuve en el mejor homestay de Vancouver, por lo cual los recomiendo ampliamente.

I'm saki ! I'm from Japan ! Tina's home stay house was so good ! Because home family is so kind ! And you can use you just private room! Homestay parents usually take us out together !
The neighborhood is quiet and very safe..summer time is fun to go to amusement park Playland.
こんにちは! 私は最初英語が分かりませんでしたがホームファミリーが親切に英語を教えてくれたり時には宿題も一緒にしてくれたりと、とても助かりました。子供が2人いてとても可愛い子供達です。また鍵付きのあなただけが使えるお部屋もありプライベート環境もしっかりしています。ホームステイファミリーとは住む部屋が別なので、寝る時も騒音などは気になりません! またトイレットペーパーや洗剤などもホームステイファミリーが買ってくれるので自分達で買わなくても大丈夫です ! 時には自分で料理を作りたい時には自分で材料を買って料理ができます!
