Welcome!! If you are a woman looking for a safe neighbourhood, some colour and character, good neighbours and animals (I have two very friendly, large dogs), you should feel at home here. I am located in Richmond, about 25 minutes by SkyTrain to downtown Vancouver (SkyTrain station is within walking distance; by bus - from doorstep to station, 10 minutes). Very close to KPU, BCIT (Richmond Campuses) and a short commute to Langara in Vancouver.

My home is in a quiet neighbourhood, located close to many services. The following are very near my house:
Bus stop (4 minute walk from our door) and Brighouse SkyTrain station (takes 9 minutes, by bus) which will take you to central Vancouver in 25 minutes. Richmond Centre Shopping mall; pharmacy; banks; food markets/restaurants; library; swimming pool; skating rink; small art gallery and museum; Olympic Oval sports facility, lovely Minoru Park, tennis courts, a sports track; Richmond Hospital; Thompson Community Centre, Fraser River, walking and bike trails. Several more shopping opportunities are also available at various SkyTrain stations (Lansdowne, Aberdeen, Oakridge).

I will offer a responsible, creative household arrangement and provide a room for adult female students who are mature and responsible as well. The downstairs has a shared lounge area, but you are welcome to use the other areas in the home too. I also have a back deck, a front and backyard. Animal and nature lovers (those without pet allergies) should feel comfortable in this home. I can also show you around our fabulous city of Vancouver and the city of Richmond, where I live. The hustle and activity of Granville Island, historic Gastown, Queen Elizabeth Park, Steveston Village, fun Commercial Avenue, beaches of Boundary Bay - to name a few. We also have some wonderful areas that are not well known tourist sites and may be of interest during your time here.

My rate is $800 per month without meals. That is inclusive, there are no other charges for utilities, Wifi, laundry supplies, bedding, bathroom soap and tissue - so there are no surprises with extra fees. If you do prefer an option WITH meals - I can provide that, but the monthly rate will then increase too.
