We have been hosting for over 30 years resulting in friends all over the world.
We have had some sporty habits, like skiing, squash (Archie), tennis (Andrea), kickboxing and soccer (Connor) and spin class (A &A).
We like going to our cabin on a gorgeous BC lake where we kayak and have floaty parties.
Our guests have been both fun and interesting and we have really enjoyed hosting.
We have books of references our guests write of their fond memories upon departure that allow us to reminisce.
Occasionally they return to visit, send us a wedding invitation, or at least update us on What's App with a video, or a Facetime call, rather like extended family.
One guest just wrote that he put his 8 X 10 photo with us up on his memories wall!
Archie had a long career in Finance, Trusts, Estates and Wealth Management. Andrea is self-employed still in this area, but mainly is able to work from home.
Our adult son is back from doing his Masters in Occupational Therapy and now starting his career as an OT.
We have one sweet small Westie dog who is elderly and loves to cuddle.
We are accustomed to sharing space and socializing when suitable but offering privacy too as the guest prefers.
