Greetings,

I'm a semi-retired ESL teacher and an empty nester, offering two private bedrooms exclusively for FEMALE students seeking short-term accommodation. My residence is conveniently situated in close proximity to the culturally vibrant and authentic Commercial Drive neighbourhood, with an approximate 30-minute travel time to downtown. Vancouver's Commercial Drive is named one of the 'Coolest Streets in the World'.

My home is best suited for a studious and tidy tenant. You'll be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with both the host and another student. The monthly rent includes all utilities, including water, electricity, heating, and internet. Laundry facilities available once a week. Please note that I do not offer airport pickup services or meals.

The house is exclusively for the use of the individuals renting it. Overnight guests, including friends visiting, are not allowed.

Should you have any inquiries, feel free to reach out via email, or we can arrange a virtual Meet & Greet session.

In order to secure a room, I'll require you to provide your student visa, school acceptance letter, and confirm your identity with a photocopy of your passport identification. A non-refundable deposit is necessary for room reservation, and the first month's payment is due upon your arrival at the homestay. The deposit will be refunded on your departure, provided there are no damages.

To maintain a harmonious living environment, we have some simple house rules:

*Please keep your room and shared spaces tidy and well-maintained.
*Kindly remove your shoes before entering the house.
*If you plan to cook, aim to do so before 8 pm and clean up afterward. Make sure to turn off the stove when you're done.
*Be mindful of your bathroom usage and try to keep it brief, considering others who also need access.
*Observe quiet time after 10:00 pm to respect everyone's rest.
*Always be considerate and respectful of your housemates.
*Avoid sharing security codes for safety reasons.
*I do not provide toilet paper or laundry detergent

Patricia is a great owner! I stayed for 1 month and she was always friendly and kind.
I liked the location too! You can go to downtown by bus or train for about 30 mins. Also, it’s fun to explore local shops nearby.
I highly recommend the house!

I am studying English in Vancouver. I have been living in this house for 5 months. It is a very warm and cozy house. The landlord is very kind and always helps me. There are restaurants and convenience stores in the neighbourhood. It’s very convenient. And just 20 minutes by bus or sky train to my school in Downtown.

สวัสดีค่ะ เราเป็นนักเรียนโรงเรียนเรียนภาษาที่ Downtown ค่ะ พักอยู่บ้านหลังนี้มา 5 เดือนแล้ว เป็นบ้านอบอุ่นมาก เจ้าของบ้านใจดีมากๆ ช่วยเหลือและให้คำแนะนำตลอด ที่ละแวกบ้านมีร้านอาหาร, ซูปเปอร์มาเก็ตเยอะมาก สะดวกสุดๆค่ะ จากบ้านนั่งรถบัสหรือรถไฟฟ้าเข้า Downtown ประมาณ 20 นาทีเองค่ะ ใกล้มากๆ.

It was a temporary accommodation in Vancouver, but the location, room, and kitchen were all good, so I stayed for another month! In fact, when I didn't know anything about Vancouver, I thought a lot about whether it was a good location, but it was nice to take a bus to downtown at once and to have a good atmosphere on the commercial drive around the house. And the landlord has a good personality and is really cool! The house or room look much better than the picture! Warm water comes out well and the room is not cold either!! The kitchen is also good because it can be used comfortably within a set time!

It was nice that this was my first stay in Canada!! Have a good time in Vancouver, everyone!

밴쿠버 와서 임시숙소로 정했던 곳이었는데, 위치도 방도 주방도 모두 좋아서 1달 더 살게 되었어요! 사실 밴쿠버에 대해 아무것도 모를 때, 괜찮은 위치인가 고민을 많이 했었는데, 다운타운까지 버스도 한 번에 가고 집 주변에 있는 커머셜 드라이브에 맛있는 것도 많고 분위기도 좋아서 좋았습니다. 그리고 집주인분이 성격이 좋으시고 쿨하세요! 집이나 방 사진이 사진보다 실제가 훨씬 좋아요! 따뜻한 물도 잘 나오고 방도 춥지않아요!! 주방도 정해진 시간 이내에는 편하게 사용할 수 있어서 좋습니다!

이 집이 캐나다에서 머문 첫 집이어서 좋았습니다!! 모두들 밴쿠버에서 좋은 시간 잘 보내다 가세요!

Patricia was such a kind and amazing host! She was super helpful and able to tell me about the area and close-by places to shop and eat. The house was beautiful and the neighborhood was super close to everything I needed, with access to all the bus routes. I really recommend staying here, it was an amazing experience!
